Cleaning out agglomeration plant in Worms/Germany

Completed agglomeration project with a higher value for the equipment!

In 2020 Foeth was contracted for a dismantling and clean-up project of a complete agglomeration plant in Worms, Germany. The full scope of work consisted of cleaning the system from product residues, dismantling the reusable equipment and selling it, removal and disposal of the scrap and waste materials.

Project results

From the start one of Foeth’s Sales Agents, Regina Zarmer, was working directly with the Project Management of the plant. Together they were involved in channeling the dismantling and removal of all equipment involved, which was done with a professional dismantling company that was able to fulfill very high safety and work standards.

The concept was a win-win situation for all parties involved. Foeth offered a much higher value for the equipment and together with the clean up it saved the owner of the plant a lot of involved costs and time. The higher value could be realized by Foeth because approximately 50 % of the project costs was covered by the equipment value Foeth was ready to invest.

After only 8 weeks the full project was finalized without any accidents. And instead of treating the machines as waste or scrap metal, they became a circular product.
